Steve Schnider

Steve began his career in funeral service in 1977 in Boise, Idaho. He obtained his Mortuary Science degree from Mt. Hood Community College in Oregon. Steve worked at and managed several different funeral homes including O’Connor Funeral Home and Chapel of Chimes in Great Falls during the 80’s and 90’s. He left Great Falls to work for Fulkerson Funeral Home in Williston, N.D. prior to starting Schnider Funeral Home in 2001. He holds his Morticians License in Montana, North Dakota and Idaho, as well as being a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) through the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice.
With a passion for his Plymouth and Dodge muscle cars, Steve spends much of his spare time in the shop working on his latest project. He and his wife enjoy going to car shows, playing golf and traveling. As an active member of the community, Steve enjoys the local Rotary Club and Knights of Columbus.

Tim was born and raised in Great Falls. After graduating from high school in Fairfield he attended the University of Montana where he graduated with a degree in Business Management. Tim and his wife Sabrina, who is a nurse, have four children and one granddaughter. Their daughter Tanealya is very active in Special Olympics. Their daughter Taylor is married (Chad) and they have a daughter Elsie. Their son Riley is in the process of becoming an electrician. Their son Aiden is a recent graduate of high school and is attending college to pursue a career in film.
Tim and Sabrina’s family are avid fly fisher’s and have a passion for the outdoors including paddle boarding, ice skating and hiking the many trails in our wonderful state.

But the joy of his life, after his loving wife, is his two adorable grandsons.

Ultimately, Scott and his wife of almost 30 years, Colleen decided that it was time for a new adventure. They saw that the Schnider family was looking for a director. They checked out the town and the people, and in less than 24 hours, they fell in love with the community and decided to move to Great Falls.
Previously, Scott had been very involved with the Rotary Club and was the Past-President of the Rotary Club of Payson, Arizona. Scott is a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, target shooting, camping and grilling.

Dave joined our funeral director team in 2016. Dave was born and raised in Billings. He came to Great Falls in 1986 and regrets never seeing the smoke stack as a Great Falls citizen.

Paul joined our team and began his funeral career with us in 2021 after graduating from American Academy McAllister Institute in 2019 with a degree in Funeral Service.

Rick was born and raised in Butte, MT. He graduated from the University of Montana – Western with a Bachelor Degree in Secondary Education. In 1998 Rick joined the staff at a local Butte funeral home. In 2001 he received his Mortuary Science Degree from Mt. Hood Community College in Portland, Oregon.
Rick moved to Great Falls and worked at Schnider and O’Connor funeral homes. Rick, moved to Missoula in 2010 where he worked at Sunset Memorial Gardens funeral home. In 2017 Rick moved back to Great Falls to be closer to his children and grandchildren.
In his spare time Rick enjoys reading and collecting books, as well as camping and Kayaking. He is also a fan of Green Bay Packers football and Atlanta Braves baseball.

Born and raised in Great Falls, Taylor has a deep sense of understanding and compassion for the members of our local community. She began to pursue her career as a funeral director in 2022 and is currently enrolled in the Mortuary Science Program at Arapahoe Community College. She will be graduating in the spring of 2025 and will complete her internship shortly after that.
In her free time, Taylor can be found reading or spending time outdoors with her husband, their family, and their dog. During the summer months, they can be found relaxing at the family cabin on Holter Lake or hiking the vast wilderness that Montana has to offer.

Office Manager
Allison was raised in Great Falls and married her fantastic husband, Jeff, in 2001. In 2011, they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Sarah, to the world. Allison enjoys spending time with her dog, Gromit, family, and friends. She has various hobbies and enjoys anything to do with the outdoors.
Allison joined O'Connor & Schnider Funeral Homes as their new office manager in August 2024 with an extensive background in administration and finance.

Shelby was born in Helena, Montana. She graduated from Jefferson High School. She attended the University of Montana for one semester and then transferred to Western New England University in Massachusetts where she earned her degree in forensic pathology.
During her time at the University of Montana, she worked at the Missoula County Jail. After graduating college, she worked at the Emergency Department for St. Peters Health during the worst of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
After meeting the love of her life, Aaron, she became a part of the thin blue-line family as Aaron is a police officer for the Great Falls police department. She then moved up to Great Falls, where she started working for Schnider Funeral Home in 2022. During her free time, Shelby and Aaron travel all around the world, with Seattle being the one place they frequently visit. She also loves driving and working on her dream car, a limited-edition Subaru WRX. She loves her 2 dogs Ghost and, Aurora, and of course, her kitty Oreo.

Brandi Dyer Perkins

Brandi was born in Mesa, Arizona. Her father’s career as a Funeral Director eventually moved their family to Payson, Arizona where she graduated from Payson High School in 2013. From that point Brandi spent a few years in the medical field working as a Certified Nursing Assistant. After a brief move to Utah, Brandi returned to Gilbert, Arizona where she began working in the real estate industry.
In 2018, she fell in love with Sterling Perkins and in July of 2019 they were married. Brandi then went on to become a Licensed Residential Real Estate Appraiser and had their son, Cole in 2021.
After a lot of thinking, Brandi and Sterling decided to be closer to Brandi’s family and moved to Great Falls in July of 2023. She started working for Schnider and O’Connor Funeral Homes shortly after their move.
When Brandi is not working she loves spending time with her family, cuddling her dogs, Penny and Millie, watching her favorite shows, competing in trivia, and she especially enjoys country swing dancing. She is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

As a hobby, Janice is a demonstrator for Stampin’ Up! which is a rubber stamp and scrapbook company. She loves her crafting time. Her “heaven-on-earth” is Whitefish, MT where she enjoys long walks with her dog, Brody, and kayaking. She also enjoys traveling, and especially cruising.

Jeremy grew up in Belt MT and attended college at MSU Bozeman. Upon returning to Great Falls, he served the community as a police officer, paramedic and firefighter paramedic. He currently is the Assistant Fire Chief at Great Falls Fire Rescue. He is married and has two daughters. Public service has been a part of his life for over 30 years.
Working for the funeral home is a continuation of public service. Caring for a decedent and occasionally interacting with families is one of the most calming jobs Jeremy has done. The level of professionalism and kindness during those times has to be very high. The families we meet deserve nothing less. The decedent deserves nothing less.
Spare time consists of work, fishing, dirt biking, family time and working some more.

John and Lesa have been married over 40 years and they have nine children, five boys and four girls. Twenty five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
