William "Bill" Cooper

William Bill Cooper, 88, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from complications of Alzheimers at Benefis Peace Hospice.Per Bills request, there will be no funeral service.Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.Bill was born December 22, 1927 and moved with his family to Great Falls in 1978, when he bought Hilgard News. After Julius Hilgard passed away, Bill changed the name to CD Distributing in honor of his daughters Cyndy and Darlene.Bill enjoyed golfing and following any activity that his daughters participated in. He and his wife of 67 years, Margaret, had many laughs and good times over the years.Bill is survived by his wife, Margaret Cooper; daughters Cyndy Cooper and Darlene (Brad) Westhoff; and grandchildren Noah Cooper, Melissa Westhoff, Jessica Westhoff and Valerie Westhoff.He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the charity of your choice.
