Roberta Lynn Larson, 56, of Fairfield, passed away at home on September 30, 2016.Roberta Berta was born on December 3, 1959 in Great Falls, Montana to Harold and Ruth McKinlay. She was raised on the family ranch in Buffalo, Montana and graduated from Hobson High School in 1978.On June 17, 1979, Berta married Paul Bergstrom and went on to have four wonderful children who were the light of her life. They remained on the family ranch in Buffalo until 1989, when Berta and her family moved to Fairfield. Berta and Paul later divorced, and in November 1999 she met her loving husband Martin Larson They were married on Berta's birthday, December 3, 2006 and remained in Fairfield.Berta was a long time employee of Mills Ford in Fairfield. She enjoyed being outdoors and spending time at the cabin near Lincoln with Martin. She also enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandkids.A memorial service will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at United Church of Christ Congregational in Fairfield.Berta is survived by her husband, Martin Larson of Fairfield; parents Harold and Ruth McKinlay of Buffalo; daughters Heather (Chad) Finneman of Havre and Tracy Bergstrom of Fairfield; sons Roger (Toni) Bergstrom of Joliet, Robert (Katrina) Bergstrom of Toronto, Canada, and Brian (Amber) Larson of Fairfield; sisters Sherri (James) Bergstrom of Buffalo and Judy (Les) Swanson of Buffalo; sister-in-law Mali Hensley of Fairfield; in-laws Fred (Donna) Larson of Fairfield; grandchildren Hailey and Chris Finneman, Logan Bergstrom, and Marty and Avery Larson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Doyle and Sylvia Euell; paternal grandparents Dorothy and Lloyd McKinlay; and stepson Marty Larson.Flowers and cards can be sent to the family in care of the Silver Dollar Bar in Fairfield.
