Patsy Pat Herndon Wagner, 73, of Great Falls, passed away suddenly on the morning of Thursday, November 3, 2016 at her home with her loved ones by her side.A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Schnider Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with visitation an hour prior to the service starting at 1:00 p.m. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Pat was born May 6, 1943 to Maxine and Floyd Herndon in Miami, Oklahoma. She was the oldest of five siblings and attended school in Wichita, Kansas.On May 4, 1968, Pat married the love of her life, Elton Wagner in Nowata, Oklahoma. They lived together in Hayesville, KS; where she was employed by Beech Aircraft. In 1920, they moved to Wahpeton, ND. Between 1971 and 1972, they lived in Burgess, MN and Wolf Point, MT, before finally settling in Great Falls, MT in 1973.Pat was a very loving and caring wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed the many different animals she and her family raised over the years. She also loved to hunt and fish, enjoyed doing the Sunday crossword puzzle and loved to play card games with her family. She took great joy in many of the things that most take for granted. Visiting with friends, family and neighbors and enjoying a good meal were some of Pats favorite pastimes. For the last 21 years, Pats greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, whom were her world.She is survived by her husband, Elton; son, David (Diane) Stafford of Springfield, MO; daughter, Sarah (Matthew) Fleming of Great Falls; granddaughters, Charlotte and Taylor Stafford and Kayla, Grace and Brooklynn Fleming; brothers, Danny (Margie), Tim (Jacque) and Darin (Kathy) Herndon; sisters-in-law, Christine and Sharon Herndon; twelve nieces and nephews.Pat was preceded in death by her mother and father; brothers Bobby and George Herndon; and daughters Victoria Suzanne Stafford and Jo Anna Wagner.
