Louis Scheschy

Louis Rudolph Scheschy, 88, of Great Falls, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel.Louis was born on January 20, 1929 in Omaha, Nebraska to Louis McKinley Scheschy and Mary Magdalena (Colombo) Scheschy. He served in the Marines from September 1946 to 1948. Louis married Margaret A. Bunker on February 18, 1969 in Poulsbo, WA. He worked for the Washington State Dept of Transportation for 20 years.He was a member of the VFW, Marine Corp League, Moose Lodge and Elks. Louis enjoyed geneology, politics, carpentry, his grandkids and great-grandkids and family.Louis is survived by his wife, Margaret of Great Falls; sons Terry L. (Linda), Louis M. (Loretta) and David J. (Debra) Scheschy; daughters Jodene M. Martinson, Lori J. (Don) Bartie, and Jody L. (David) Brissette; sisters Jayne Howard, Violet Orchard and Patricia Ogden; 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Madeline Terry.
