Joseph Anthony Feldman, 74, of Great Falls, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016.Joseph Joe was born in East Helena, Montana on December 4, 1941 to Frank B. and Alice E. (Cahill) Feldman. He attended Cathedral High School in Helena graduating in 1960. From 1960 to 1962, he served in the US Army where he received a good conduct medal. Joe received his associates degree in microcomputer management from MSU College of Technology in Great Falls in 1994. He was a hydro-maintenance person for Montana Power. Prior to that, he worked for the Anaconda Mining Co. in Butte.Joe was a Boy Scout assistant troop leader, and little league baseball assistant coach. He loved to play cribbage, Yahtzee, and board games.Joe is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Lou; daughter Julie; son Jim (Courtney); grandchildren Zachery, Madisen and Jade; brothers Paul and Steve (Marge) Feldman; sisters Mary Alice Haniszewski and Margaret Mary (Paul) Ringstad; sister-in-law Eileen; and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alice Feldman; brothers Raymond and Frank; sister Mary Therese; brother-in-law Lawrence Shimmin; and father and mother-in-law Louis and Mary Shimmin.The family would like to thank the staff at the Goldstone Assisted Living and Peace Hospice for their excellent care and dedication.A celebration of life will be held at noon on May 7, 2016 at St. Anns Cathedral. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
