James "Robbie" Robinson

James Richard Robbie Robinson, 73, of Great Falls, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at a local care facility.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Living Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Andre Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery with military honors. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Robbie was born on December 5, 1941 in White Plains, New York, the son of James and Theresa Robinson. He attended school in Tallahassee, Florida and graduated in 1960. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He was stationed in Vietnam, Turkey, Greece, England and Germany. He came to Great Falls in 1979, stationed at Malmstrom AFB. He retired from the Air Force 1983. He worked for Burns Security for many years, then Walmart for 10 years before officially embracing the retired life.In 1972, Robbie married Theresa Manley in Bedford, England.He was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing. He also enjoyed taking annual cruises to beautiful destinations with his wife and brothers.Robbie is survived by his wife, Theresa Robinson of Great Falls; daughters Michelle Noriega of Marshall, MN and Karen (Travis) Collier of Great Falls; brothers Anthony (Helen) Robinson of Virginia and Ronnie (Cheryl) Robinson of New Jersey; and five grandchildren, Andrew and Grace Ariegwe, and Elena, Collin and Lauren Noriega.He was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.Memorials in Robbies name may be made to Sletten Cancer Institute, 1117 29th St. S., Great Falls, MT 59405.
