Emma Hanna (Kemp) Weber passed away of natural causes at the age of 102 on Friday May 9th 2014 at Park Place Health Care Center.A memorial service of family and friends will be held in Great Falls, Montana later this summer. Per her request, cremation has taken place and her ashes will be inurned at Hillcrest Lawn Mausoleum. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Emma was born in Greenfield, Minnesota on October 22, 1911 to Herman and Minnie Kemp. Emma moved to Montana in 1913, where the family homesteaded near Geyser, MT. Emma graduated from Geyser High school in 1929 and Intermountain (Carroll) College in Helena, MT in 1933.In 1933, Emma transferred to Kansas City, Missouri for employment with the Boy Scout Council. Here, she met her husband Max Weber, and was married in Kansas City, Missouri in 1942. Emma and Max had one son, Frederick William (Bill) Weber in 1944. After her husbands death in 1951, she returned to Great Falls to raise her son. After returning, she worked at Killorns Ladies Fashion Shop and Buttreys Accounting Department until 1970, when she retired.Emma is survived by daughter-in-law Carolyn Weber (Bill Weber deceased); three grandchildren Mitzi Ellingson of Idaho Falls, ID, Jane (Chris) Charnock of Idaho Falls, ID, and Brian (Megan) Weber of Kalispell, MT. Emma was also blessed with three great-grandchildren in her lifetime, Bree Ellingson, Erin Ellingson and Henry Charnock, all of Idaho Falls, ID; niece Jackie (Les) Allison of Wyoming; and nephew Robert Larson of Lewiston, MT.Emma was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her husband Max Weber in 1951, and her son, Bill Weber on October 5, 2003. Emma was also preceded in death by her sisters, Bertha, Ida, Lillian, Ardella and one brother Herman.
