Wilma Willie Marian (Nemec) Zupan, 94, died of natural causes on November 17, 2013 while living at Beehive Homes in Missoula.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Willie was born March 26, 1919, in Ellsworth, Iowa, and is the daughter of William and Mathilda (Peterson) Nelson. She married Andy Nemec in 1939, and they were married for 23 years until his death in 1962. She married Frank Zupan in 1983. They had 10 wonderful years together until Franks death in 1993.Willie graduated from Great Falls High School in 1937. Besides raising two sons, Larry Nemec and Ron Nemec, she worked as a bookkeeper for the Nash Garage, Davis Jewelry and spent many years working as a bookkeeper and office manager for the Borchers family American Furniture Store.Willie and her sister Vergie spent years completing the Nelson Genealogy. She was an expert seamstress and quilter, and loved teaching her skills to others.Willie is survived by her son, Ronald R. (Sherri) Nemec of Missoula; sisters Lois (Bill) Leach of Sun River and Audrey (John) Kelly of Great Falls; daughter-in-law Florence Nemec of El Paso, TX; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Andy Nemec; husband Frank Zupan; son Larry Nemec; and sisters Ruby McMahon, Ellen Winston, and Vergie Stevenson.Special thanks to the caring staff at the Beehive Homes in Missoula.Memorials are suggested to the Great Falls Genealogy Society, 301 2nd Ave. N., Great Falls, MT 59401.
