Wilma Mae Berg

Wilma Berg died on Jan. 20, 2019. Her funeral service will be at Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church at 1:00 PM on Friday January 25, 2019 with burial at Manchester Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Schnider’s Funeral Home. Wilma Berg was born on Dec. 21, 1924 in Hingham, MT, to August and Mildred Kickbusch. She lived in the Bear Paws, Havre, and attended Havre High. She won first place at the Montana State Shorthand championship. Wilma worked as a waitress, cook, and at Boeing. She earned an accounting degree at age 46 and worked for a trucking company and Big R Supply. She attended Vineyard Christian Fellowship for 30 years and served as treasurer for the Mercy Ministry. She loved growing flowers and watering lawns even until age 93. Her greatest joys were her family and especially grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Willard (Evelyn); children Lana (Warren), Alan (Barb), Rod (Angela) as well as 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, one brother, and three children; Marvin, Carolyn and Lynelle.
