William “Bill” Twedt, 64, passed away August 2, 2018 from complications of a fall. Bill was born July 26, 1954 to Gordon and S. Lorine Twedt. He was raised on the family farm south of Rudyard, Montana. He cherished his time on the hi-line and was always a flat lander.His family moved to Great Falls, where he graduated from GFHS. Bill then graduated from MSU (Go Cats!) with a degree in Ag. Business. He worked for Cargill and Montana Merchandising. Bill earned an MBA and began a new career in Real Estate and Land Management. Bill truly enjoyed life. He loved meeting people and was easily befriended because of his wit, and charm. He was a member of the Elks and enjoyed golfing and bowling as health permitted. Bill's greatest gift was gab, embellishing stories with truth, bull and humor. He will be missed by all who survive. His spouse Judy; brothers, James (Suzie), Russell (Jackie Watson); sister-in-law Marcia Hocevar; parents-in-law Joe and Mary Hocevar; and all the extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Diana Twedt; brother-in-law Wayne Luckey; mother-in-law Dorothy Hocevar. A celebration of life and shared stories will be held October 5, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Elks Lodge.
