William P. "Bill" Hill

William P. Bill Hill, 62, of Power passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015.A memorial service will be held Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Central Assembly Church, 2001 Central Ave, Great Falls, MT 59401.Bill was born November 7, 1952 in Kenmare, ND and was raised in Great Falls, MT.Bill was a self-made man with many skills. He worked many years as a mechanic at Bennett Motors and Dick Grieb Buick and as a self-employed carpenter before ranching in Power, MT. He had a love for fixing up old cars and racing stock cars in his youth. Bill loved telling jokes and spending time with his family. He was always the man to call if you needed anything fixed. He was a wonderful father and devoted husband.Bill is survived by his wife, Cindy of Power; son Josh (Ingrid) Hill of Bozeman; daughters Chrissy (Taylor) Thoroughman of Great Falls, Brittany Hill of Spokane, WA; sisters LaVonne (Carl) Mallory and Judy (Gene) Shorck of Great Falls; brothers Vern (Barb) Hill, Hank (Vicki) Hill and Pete Hill all of Great Falls; stepmother Marge Hill of Great Falls; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Gloria Hill and many others.
