William "Bill" Newbauer

Bill Newbauer, 53, of Great Falls and Havre, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 of natural causes.A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Havre, MT. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.Bill was born March 25, 1963 to Donald L. and Bridget Newbauer. He attended St. Jude School and worked for Badland Tree and Landscaping and the Town House Inn for ten years as maintenance.In 1992, Bill met Nancy Brown and they spent the last 24 years together, the last 15 at the Autumn Run Apartments, where Bill was maintenance supervisor. Bill was very proud of his work there.He enjoyed camping and fishing. He had a great sense of humor and a smile that warmed the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed.Bill is survived by his wife, Nancy Brown of Great Falls; brother Ed Newbauer of Rapid City, SD; sister Anne Annie Hofeldt of Chinook; nieces Athena (Josh) Holloway of Great Falls, Christy (Dwayne) Branch of Cut Bank, Tarabeth (Scotty) McNeil of Great Falls, and Amber Parsons of Chinook; nephew Tim Hofeldt and their children of Chinook; stepfather Vince Moreszes of Great Falls; stepchildren Charlie (Alanna) Brown, Richard Brown both of Great Falls, Nicole (Merle) Big Bow of Polson, and Joseph Eagleman of Havre; and numerous grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his father, Don Newbauer; mother Bridget Moreszes; brother Don Fuddy Newbauer Jr.; grandparents Jerome and Isabel Helmbrech; and paternal grandfather Stanley Newbauer.
