William Bill Harold Brimmer passed from this life on May 18, 2016 at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, Montana.William Brimmer was born September 26, 1939, to Elvata Pearl and Andrew Brimmer in Veronia, Oregon. After a divorce, William, his mother and brother, Dan, moved to Dunsmuir, California with stepfather, Floyd Spearin and two stepsisters to form a family of six.William, better known as Wild Bill , graduated from Dunsmuir High School. He served in the Army National Guard before being employed for many years by South Pacific and Union Pacific Rail Road, as was Floyd before him. On July 5, 1964, Bill married Charlene Julien of McCloud, California and was married almost 50 years before Charlene's death in 2013. Bill and Charlene moved to Redding, California where their two children, Eric and Wendy were raised. Upon retiring, they moved to Idaho finding a new home, and new friends in the town of Whitebird.Bill was a long, tall drink of water known by his cowboy hat and Dodge truck, as a man who enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting, U.S. History, rodeo, camping, horseback riding and.. beer!! He was a lively man with a sharp wit and a wicked sense of humor. Generous to his friends, Bill would give his last coin to someone who needed it more.Bill will be greatly missed by his family, as well as his many friends both old and new. A memorial for both he and Charlene will be held in Whitebird, Idaho in September of 2016. Please contact his children for more information.He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Pearl Spearin and wife of almost 50 years, Charlene.Bill is survived by his brother, Danny Brimmer of Jackson, CA; son Eric Brimmer and wife Trealisa of Montgomery Creek, CA; and daughter Wendy Brimmer Smith and husband Cody of Great Falls; and by his three grandsons, Kamron Brimmer and Kyger and Karson Smith.
