Wilbur Davies died peacefully at Peace Hospice on April 15, 2019, in Great Falls, Montana at the age of 81. Wilbur is survived by his wife, Georgia; daughter, Jennifer; sisters, Barbara (Johnny Ray) Cooper, Judy Storkson, Virginia (Dave) Osterloth and Sharon (Randy) Stobart; brother John Davies; mother-in-law, Lilian Webster; brother-in-law, Wayne Webster, Jr.; many nieces and nephews; and pups Benny and Sunday. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sonya; brother, Jimmy; parents; and father-in-law, Wayne Webster. Wilbur was born on December 5, 1937, in Hamilton, Montana to Virgil and Madge Davies. He graduated from Fort Benton High School in 1956. In 1960 he joined the Montana Air National Guard in Great Falls, retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1985. After retiring, he attended the College of Technology in Great Falls where he graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. Wilbur married Georgia Webster on Halloween of 1964 after a brief courtship. He enjoyed cooking, being in the outdoors, working with his hands, and playing computer solitaire. He loved children and was a foster parent for many years. He also enjoyed being a surrogate grandpa’ to many young children in his life. A memorial is planned at a later date.
