Wayne Lee Hendershot

Wayne L. Hendershot, 81, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 of natural causes. A memorial service will be held Thursday August 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Wayne was born August 5, 1936 to Lester and Esther Hendershot in Sheboygan, WI. He served in the Army as a crane operator in Germany and France. Wayne lived and worked for Sears and Roebuck in Las Vegas for 37 years before moving to Great Falls in 1994. After retiring he kept busy working with wood either building furniture of remolding his homes. Wayne enjoyed deer hunting and loved horses as a young man. He never met a stranger that he didn’t enjoy visiting with and always was kind to everyone. He is survived by his wife, Toni; son James (Becky); daughter Jodi (Mark); five grandchildren Jennifer, Sterling, Kaylee, Tayler, and Trevor; brothers Roger from Mason City, IA and Darryl from Palm Desert, CA. and numerous nieces and nephews.
