Wanda Mae Belgarde

Wanda Mae Belgarde, 57, of Great Falls, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018, at a Great Falls hospital. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Wanda was born January 1, 1961 to Herman Belgarde and Genevieve Brien in Spokane, Washington. She worked as a child care provider for many years. She had a big heart and loved everyone. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She had a smile that would light up any room. Wanda enjoyed bingo and spending time with her grandkids. She also enjoyed being surrounded by all the other children she cared for. Most of all, she loved her family and all the memories they made together. Wanda is survived by her life partner, Richard “Tito” Blackbird; daughter Amber (Kortny) Pronteau all of Great Falls; son Justin (Kinsey Super) Belgarde of Helena, MT; nine grandchildren; and a stepdaughter Carissa Blackbird. Wanda was like a second mom to her niece and her husband Anna and Dave Kraus and their children. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Herman Belgarde; sister Shirley Belgarde; and her parents.
