Timothy W. Benson

Tim Benson, 51, of Great Falls, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015 from a terminal illness, in Great Falls at Peace Hospice. A memorial service will be held on July 18, 2015. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Tim was born, on November 16, 1963 in Yakima, Washington. He moved to Missoula, Montana in 1985 and received a degree from the U of M in 1990. Tim was a crew chief in the Montana Air National Guard and served his country for over twenty years total. He accumulated numerous military awards and participated in many deployments, including one to Iraq in 2004. Tim enjoyed sports, fishing, and motorcycle riding. He was a committed Christian and enjoyed spreading the word of God and studying his bible. Tim is survived by his father and mother, Bill and Gail Benson; brother and sister-in-law Brian and Shelley Benson; and niece and nephew Jessica and Matthew Benson.
