Timothy David Mitchell, 53, a carpenter, died in an accident while repairing a vehicle on Monday, March 18, 2013.Timothy was born in Great Falls on June 7, 1959 to David Mitchell and Michale Mitchell.He graduated from Great Falls High School, and then apprenticed with his dad in carpentry.If a man loses pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away.Tim was a carpenter and a fixer of all things broken.He lived and worked in Alaska and Hawaii before returning to Great Falls.Tim and Naomi Kujala were married in Hawaii.They later divorced.When his brother-in-law was deployed to Uzbekistan, he moved to Missoula and built an addition on their home with the help of many friends.Tim camped and rode trail bikes with his family before moving up to a Harley.He rode to Sturgis several times.Tim loved music, skiing, and fishing.He made birdhouses, picture frames and wooden toys.Tims special love was travel.He had been from Finland to Egypt making and keeping friends along the way.He had many stories from his travels, usually funny.He had recently spent time in Thailand and Cambodia.He loved the places and the people.His goal was to return as soon as possible.The Lord had a better place for him.Tim is survived by his parents, Michale and Dave Mitchell; sister and brother-in-law, Korey and Keith Wolferman and their children, Rex, Ellen, Quinn and Piper all of Missoula; grandmother Beverly Flemming of Helena; aunt and uncle Cynthia and Al Struble of Oregon; cousins Ben Foot of Oregon and Jeff Foot of New Mexico, and his good buddy, Dash the cat.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard Flemming, William and Betty Mitchell, and Evelyn and Lloyd Fish.A celebration of Tims life will be held at a later date.Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Condolences for the family may be posted online at www.schniderfuneralhome.com.
