Thomas Janzer

Thomas Michael Janzer, 61, of Great Falls, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his home, due to natural causes.Private graveside services for family and friends will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.He was born in Great Falls on September 30, 1951 to Matthew and Jane (Cosgrove) Janzer.He attended St. Thomas School, and Graduated from Great Falls Central Catholic High School in 1970.He then attended Eastern Montana University (Billings) and The University of Montana, Missoula.Tom married Susan Walsh in September of 1983, and they later divorced.He was the owner and President of Superstitch, Inc. and Jan-Bar Manufacturing until his retirement in 2002.Tom played on local softball teams for over twenty years, and enjoyed following the Yankees, Packers, Lakers and Montana college teams.He spent many years coaching youth basketball and baseball in Great Falls.Tom was a warmhearted individual who always cared for his family and friends. He is survived by his sons Matthew, James, and Sean Janzer of Missoula; a sister M. Joyce (Bill) Hurley of Brady and brothers Redmond (Peggy) of Kalispell and Rich (Connee) Janzer of Great Falls along with numerous nieces and nephews.
