Theresa Eileen Theisen

Theresa Eileen Theisen was born on March 24, 1928 in Bozeman, Montana. She attended Holy Rosary High School and Montana State University before marrying her husband of 52 years, Cliff Theisen. Family was everything to Theresa: her parents, John and Lucy Schwab; her siblings, John, Joe, and Rosemary; and Theresa’s greatest pride, the family she created with Cliff. Cliff and Theresa raised their ten children in Bozeman and Great Falls. They spent their later years following their grandchildren’s sports and attending the Little League World Series and many NCAA basketball tournaments. Theresa’s quick wit, sarcasm, and wicked sense of humor never subsided, even in her final days. She was surrounded by the love of her family when she died on February 26, 2018. She was preceded in death and greeted in Heaven by her husband, Cliff; her parents; sister; and her brother, John. Theresa is survived by her children, Mike (Colleen), Rita (Jack), Ronda, Tom (Ann), Mary (Ed), Karen (Steve), Tim (Laurie), Ann (Bob), Greg (Magdalena), and Calli (Rick); grandchildren Joe, Aaron (Kristie), Micaela, Eamonn, Kate (Joe), Molly (Jeff), Annie (Scott), J.D. (Elle), Emma, Tyler (Maggie), Jordan, Matt (Marissa), Caitlin (Shawn), Max, Theisen, Jack, and Molly; great-grandchildren Owen, Avery, Baylor, Gabrielle, Henry, Bo, and Brynlee; and brother Joe. Theresa was a longtime member of Holy Spirit Parish where her funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
