Steven Laurence Bryant died October 22, 2021, at Spirit Mountain Hospice in Cody, Wyoming. Viewing will take place on October 30, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at O’Connor Funeral Home (2425 8th Ave. North) with the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. There will a luncheon at Great Falls Community Church of God (3300 3rd Ave No.) following the service. Steven was born July 20, 1953, in San Diego, CA to Roy and Joyce Bryant. He was soon followed by siblings, Evelyn Sue (Randy) Olson, Harley (Kathy), Sheila (Kevin) Johnson, Paul (Lora), Rhonda (Rob) Humes, Laura (Isolino) Ferreira, Charles (Gini), Thomas (Colleen), Lani (Tim) Mondell, and Leslie who left with the Lord many years ago. He also had many nieces and nephews that he loved to tease. Being big brother gave him a lot of responsibility. He never had trouble finding work. He started with delivering papers. Since his dad was in the Navy, he lived in many places and attended many schools. He had a taste of real life on farms with the families of his Aunt Marilyn in South Dakota and his Uncle Bob in Geraldine. Steven graduated from high school in Pearl City, Hawaii, and from there he joined the Army with his buddy, Bob Tamayo. He really kept on the move visiting, Thailand, the Pentagon, Germany, So. Carolina to be a drill sergeant, and Indonesia. After he left the Army, and with wife, Engie and daughter Michelle, he entered college for degrees in accounting and business.In California the family broke up and Steve became a journeyman electrician. Steve moved back to Great Falls, and in 2015 met Jo in WY. They were married on March 26, 2016, by Steve’s father, Roy. He leaves behind his wife, Josephine Walker Bryant; daughter, Michelle; and extended family members.
