Squeeks Manzer, 91, of Great Falls, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015.A celebration of life will be held Monday, February 16, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel, by Minister Jeff Lauver.He was born December 17, 1923 to Merrill and Evelyn Manzer in Wolf Point, MT. He married Phyllis and they were married 60 years. They lived in Black Eagle and moved to Great Falls.He worked at Chet Johnson Repair, Eddys Bakery and Interstate Brands. He was a fleet supervisor and a heavy duty truck mechanic. He loved to talk with everyone and loved to hunt, fish and water ski. He was in the faceting and water skiing clubs and loved to spend time with friends at the cabin in Lincoln. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.He is survived by wife Phyllis; daughter Sandra McLure; grandson Christopher McLure; granddaughters Emily Rudd, Anna Ray, and Sarah McLure; great-grandchildren Jasmine McLure and Kale McNaight; brother Jackie (Kathy); and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by daughter Debra Lytle in May of 2014; sister Edda Martz and brothers Bill Manzer and Valord Manzer.A memorial park bench and plaque will be erected in Gibson Park and all memorials should be forwarded to Phyllis Manzer for this bench and plaque or flowers can be sent as memorial also.
