Shirley Marie Hampton, 87, of Great Falls, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Cambridge Court.A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, March 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Shirley was born on October 27, 1926 to Isaac and Dorothy (Marriott) Stagg in Pasadena, California.She met her future husband Ernie at a ski lodge outside of Denver, December of 1974. They were married on May 28, 1975 at the Methodist Church in Minot, North Dakota. She worked at a local clothing store. She was a loving mother of three children.Shirley was a member of the United Methodist Church in Great Falls, the TOPS weight loss program, as well as the Eagles with her husband, Ernie. They enjoyed many dances together. She volunteered at the Presbyterian hospital for over 10 years. She loved being a homemaker, sewing, knitting, and crocheting.She is survived by her husband, Ernest Hampton of Great Falls; sons Carl Hayes Puckett of Los Angeles, CA and his two children, Austin Hayes Puckett and Sarah Elizabeth Puckett, and Steven (Lil) Puckett of Albany, NY; and daughter Tiffin Marie Puckett McNab Sinks,Houston, Texas (currently fromSalem, Oregon) and her four children, Gavin James McNab, Patricia Nichole McNab, Garnet Marie McNab Ratliff, and Eveyln Ann McNab.Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Dorothy Stagg; and her brother, Edward Bud Stagg.Condolences for the family may be posted online at www.schniderfuneralhome.com
