Shirley Gray

Shirley May (Petrini) Gray, 80, a retired Baker of Great Falls, passed away on April 1, 2012 at her residence from natural causes.Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Schnider Funeral Home.A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel with internment to follow at Highland Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Shirley was born in Great Falls, Montana, in 1931 to Rinaldo and Mary Petrini.She graduated from Great Falls High School in 1949. She married the love of her life, Jack L. Gray on February 5, 1950. They were blessed with eight children.Shirley worked in many various capacities at Barrostti Meat Market and Vans IGA.She was the very first Bakers Union card holder to serve on the Great Falls School Board.Shirley served as a school board trustee for many, many years.She loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Shirley enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Lincoln, Montana.She is survived by her daughters Sandra (Duffy) Groener of Detroit Lakes, MN, Shirley (Richard) Wermling of Great Falls and Stacy (Deb) Gray of Great Falls; sons Michael (Julie) Gray, Jack (Nancy) Gray, Adam (Robert) Gray and George Gray all of Great Falls; sister Mary Ann Gobie of Idaho; brothers Robert, Jack and Harold Petrini all of Great Falls; grandchildren April (Matthew) Gering, Mandy (Neal Elliott) Gray, Gavin (Katie) Gray, Angela Kossan, Sean (Diane) Groener, Travis Gray, Tonya (Peder) Smith,Christopher Gray, Logan Gray, Adryanna Gray, Jayden Gray, Jessica (Kelly) Cape, Matthew (Jillian) Wermling, Michael Wermling, Alex Wermling, Jarold Peters and Melody Wilks; and great grandchildren Dillon, Madison, Ashlyn and Anna Kossan, Emily Smith, Tricia, Zachery, Samantha, Jason and Kenneth Gray, Kendall Wermling, Kassie Cape, Mykell Peters, Avery Peters, Tyrell, Kia and Jayden Gering, and Logan, Morgan and Nolan Lyons.In Heaven she will reunite with her husband Jack; an infant son; her parents; her brother George Petrini, and great-granddaughter Finley M Groener.
