Shirley Rose Belgarde

Shirley Rose Belgarde, 70, of Shelby passed away December 2, 2017 at a local care facility in Shelby. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1410 13th St. S, Great Falls. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Shirley was born on October 20, 1947 to Herman Belgarde and Genevive Brien in Havre, Montana. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Shirley had a big heart for children. She worked many years as a childcare provider. She was always smiling. Her smile would light up any room. She loved everyone but especially her family. Shirley enjoyed reading, hunting and fishing. But most of all she loved her family and all the memories they made together. She is survived by her son, Joseph (Dawnn) Laverdure; daughters April Azure and Anna (Dave) Kraus; sister Wanda Belgarde; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
