Sheryl Rene McAllister, born December 9, 1958, in Tacoma, WA, passed away peacefully at home on October 29, 2020, in Great Falls, MT surrounded by loved ones. She had fought a long hard battle with cancer. When she moved to New York from Montana, Sheryl started her career early in life as a police officer with Amityville Police Department. During that time, she had her children, Jason and Jessica. She then joined the US Army. She served overseas and then was honorably discharged as an Army Veteran of Desert Storm with commendations. She then moved back to Montana to be with family and begin new adventures. Once she moved to Montana with her children, she embraced many hobbies to include camping, fishing, gold panning, and sapphire hunting. Sheryl is survived by her children, Jason and Jessica; daughter-in-law, Crystal; son-in-law, Jeremy; brother, Mark Martin; sisters-in-law, Carrie Martin and Tammy McNamara; grandchildren, Chantell, Autumn, Daniel, Emily, Chase, Mackenzie, Bella, and Jayson; as well as her nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Steven; mother, Rosamae; and brothers, Larry and Dale. A celebration of life will be held in May of 2021. “Sheryl was an incredibly strong, independent and resilient woman who will be loved and forever missed by many.”
