Shelia Ann Jackson passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at Peace Hospice after losing her battle with cancer. She was born on June 5, 1958, in Williston, ND to parents Rose Veda and George Olson. She graduated from CMR in 1977. She attended the Great Falls Business College in downtown Great Falls and took an internship atthe then-Columbus Hospital. There she began a 39-year career at Benefis Health System, starting in the Emergency Room, and later transferring to the Radiology department. During her internship she met Randy Jackson, and they were married on September 5, 1987. Shelia is survived by her husband, Randy; son, Jeremy (Leanne) Jackson; and grand-daughter Paegan; daughter, Samantha (Tyson) Kraft; sister, Celina Russell; brothers, Rodney Olson, Gabriel Beauchman, Michael Beauchman, and Ryan (Ilona) Olson; brother-in-law, Jamie Jackson; mother-in-law, Ivy Jackson; numerous nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; and special friends, Natalie Johns, Carol Robbins, and Linda Hamilton. Shelia's hobbies included softball, making epic and humorous memories with her teammates! She loved to garden and enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially camping. She had a deep love for animals--her beloved dog, Bella, cats, Smoky and D.O.G. and all that came before them. Her job at Benefis was a constant joy, and she thrived on her interactions with patients and co-workers alike. Music was also a passion, and dancing, especially when no one was looking, was a favorite pleasure! Her friends Natalie and Carol have hilarious and precious memories of road trips to the Oregon coast, especially at the Itty-Bitty Inn in North Bend. Enjoying the beach and sunsets together were special times for the trio. Shelia loved her Green Bay Packers and was a proud Cheesehead. She liked a good movie, NCIS, and Blue Bloods on TV, cards and cribbage, and her husband's creative and at times dangerous culinary concoctions! Above all, Shelia loved her family. She spent many happy hours with precious grand-daughter, Paegan, had 32 wonderful years with husband Randy, and raised 2 remarkable and loving children. Her legacy lives on through them.
