Sharen Holzheimer was born on April 13, 1943, in Great Falls, Montana to Bob and Dolores Haffner. She was 70 years old when she passed away on November 29, 2013, to join her brother, Bob, and her parents in heaven.Sharen graduated from Great Falls High School in 1961 and married John Brennan that same year. They had two daughters together, Tina and Kelly. They later divorced and then Sharen met the love of her life and best friend, John Holzheimer. They were married in 1969 and he would raise her two young daughters as his own and they would also have two more girls together, Shauna and Kristen.Sharen worked at Deaconess Hospital, KMON Radio, City Chevrolet, the City of Great Falls, and most recently for Great Falls Bench Advertising and Chandler Communications.Sharen will be greatly missed by many. She would selflessly put her own needs aside to help anyone, anytime. Her happiest moments were in the mountains with John. They spent many weekends together camping, hunting and fishing.Sharen excelled at anything she tried, especially the clerical world, and was an awesome mother who threw incredible birthday parties and touched many lives as a Girl Scout Leader to her daughters troops. Later, she enjoyed spending time watching her grandkids compete in basketball, volleyball, football, softball, soccer, and cheer camps. She also very much enjoyed spending time at the coast with her two brothers, Russ and John, and their friends and family. There was no one with a kinder heart than Sharen. She did so many things for so many people.Sharen is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Tina West (Kelly), Kelly Parsons (Kerry), Shauna Lamey (JP), and Kristen Kaul (Matt) all of Great Falls; brothers John Haffner (Shelley) of Great Falls and Russ Haffner (Patty) of West Linn, OR; and grandchildren: Easton West, Kurtis Parsons, Kaydee Parsons, Shaylee Lamey, Morgan Lamey, TJ Kaul, Kristian Kaul, and Ben Kaul.A celebration of Sharens life will be held at the R&R on 38th Street this Friday, December 6, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with friends and family invited to attend.
