Shannon Renee Moulton passed away on July 23, 2022, peacefully in her hospice room in Great Falls. She was born on December 21, 1967, to Don Poser and Vyone Hughes. She grew up in Peerless, Montana and graduated from Peerless High School in 1986. During her high school years, she was an accomplished singer and earned high marks at district and state music festivals. She had a son, Daniel, on December 24, 1987. She married Wayvan Campbell in June 1999, but lost him a few years later due to a heart attack. She later married Gary Moulton, but lost him to ALS. Shannon was kindhearted and helped anyone she could. She trained in Williston to work with special needs adults. She used this training when she worked for the Choteau Activities for many years and really enjoyed the people that she worked with. She loved decorating cakes, sewing, and she was an excellent singer. She is survived by her mother, Vyone, and stepdad, Bud Hughes; her dad, Don; son, Daniel Martinson; brother, Aaron (Bobbi) Poser; nephews, Alex and Preston Poser; niece, Elly Poser; 3 grandchildren, Wayvan, Gia, and Elliott; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; any many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert “Bud” and Gladys Nelson, and Harold and Berniece Poser. Shannon will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and no service is planned at this time, as requested by Shannon.
