Scotty Clark

October 1, 1936 — February 15, 2022

Scotty Clark of Great Falls, MT passed away on February 15, 2022, comforted by the love of his family. Scotty was born on October 1, 1936, in Havre, MT to Jack and Connie Clark. He grew up in Havre and graduated from Havre High School in 1954. After high school, Scotty attended college at Northern Montana College. Scotty met and fell in love with Ruth Baltrusch. The two were married in 1959. They were blessed with what would have been 63 years of marriage this April. In 1960 Scotty and Ruth moved to Boise, ID where they were blessed with two sons, Doug and Don. Later the family moved back to Montana where Scotty became a parts man at Hines Motor Supply. He also worked for 20 years at Metco Kenworth where he retired. During his working years, his “hobby” was driving semis on nights, weekends, and holidays. After retirement he continued his passion for driving and went to work at United Materials. Whether it be transporting gas, cement, or produce to Canada, he was most comfortable behind the wheel of a semi. Often, he shared his trips with Ruth, Doug, and Don. They enjoyed many weekend hauls together as a family. Scotty was a wonderful singer and enjoyed being part of his church choir. Scotty had a deep love and devotion for Our Lord and his church. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves. It never fails. Corinthians 13: 4-7 Scotty will be remembered by his friends and family for his outgoing personality and contagious smile. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two sons, Doug (Kelly) and Don (Bambi); and Hunter, Alex, and Marel who all held a special place in his heart. A Memorial Service will be held at Northwest Family Fellowship (300 23rd Ave. NE, in Great Falls) on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.
