Sarah Anne Tramontana of Great Falls passed away on November 3, 2021, at the age of 47. Sarah was born on August 28, 1974, at RAF Station Lakenheath in Suffolk, England, to Terrance and Edie Tramontana. Sarah graduated from Ashland High School, Oregon, in 1992 and was accepted to Linfield University, Oregon, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing. As a registered nurse, she spent her life helping others. Her career took her to a number of states and countries, and in late 2018, she arrived in Montana. Shortly thereafter, she met her soul mate, Matt. It was love at first sight as the two were inseparable from their first date forward. They were planning an official marriage ceremony for the summer of 2022 when all family members could get together. Sarah was loved by everyone who had the opportunity to meet her. Her laughter and smile would light up the room. She loved crafting, gardening, and cooking, and was good at them all. While her light may not shine on brightly here, heaven has gained an angel. Survivors include her spouse, Matthew Wade; aunts, Renata (Martin) Tramontana of South Carolina and Mimi (Ron) Kelsey of California; uncles, Craig Tramontana of Oregon and Brad (Peggy) Tramontana of Indiana; and multiple cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edie in 1992 and Terry in 2020. There will be a memorial for Sarah on December 18, 2021, at 12:00 at the Eagles Lodge in Great Falls. Her ashes will be spread with her mother in a private family ceremony in Oregon in the Spring of 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Benefis Foundation’s Caring For Our Own.
