Sandra Meredith

Sandra passed away, Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Peace Hospice. Cremation has taken place at Schnider Funeral Home. There will be a private gathering at a later date. Sandra was born on March 10, 1944, in Rochester, New York, the daughter of James and Betty Brown.Her father was in Army and the family traveled to various places in the world.She graduated from high school in Frankfurt, Germany. She married Charles “Chuck” Meredith on Oct 11, 1961 in Fulda, Germany while Chuck was stationed in Germany. They were transferred to Fort Riley Army Base in Kansas.She moved to Great Falls in 1965 while Chuck was in Vietnam. In 1966, they were stationed at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. After Chuck’s discharge, they returned to Montana. Sandra and Chuck lived at Geyser, Montana. Sandra was a cook in a restaurant and a ranch cook. She then retired. She is survived by her husband, Chuck; son Tim; daughter Becky Hay and four grandchildren; and sister Linda Hamilton of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Brown.
