Roy F. Trotman, 75, of Great Falls, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at home after a long illness. A celebration of life will be held at Living Grace Church on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Roy was born in Luten, England on March 11, 1943 to William and Renee Trotman. He moved to Youngstown, Ohio when he was 12 years old and became a US citizen. He graduated from Boardman high school in Youngstown, Ohio in 1961 and joined the Air Force and was stationed in Great Falls, where he never left. Roy joined the Great Falls Fire Department in 1972 and served for 29 years. He was blessed with a son Michael in 1964, and a daughter Debi in 1967. He married Laurie Livingston in 2004 and dedicated himself to making her the happiest woman in the world. He gained two daughters and two grandchildren and a loving extended family with this union. Roy was an avid Formula One and Indie Car race fan. He liked crossword puzzles and summer. He is survived by his wife, Laurie Trotman; son Michael Trotman; daughter Debi “Toots” Trotman Davis; two step daughters;grandson Sean Trotman; granddaughter Royale (Missy) Trotman; Two step grandchildren; one great grandson Huckleberry Trotman, and his beloved Cat, Max.
