Ronald Dean Wynegar, 74, of Great Falls, beloved husband and father, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. Ronald was born on February 1, 1946, and adopted by Frank and Betty (Stokes) Wynegar in 1953, in Ontonagon, MI. As a young man before his military career, he worked for the Dear family as a ranch hand. He enlisted in the Marine Corps for six years and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He worked for six years in the North Dakota oil fields. He moved to Great Falls where he worked at the Great Falls Vo-Tech as the second engineer in building maintenance before retiring. He married Yvonne Carver and together they had four children. He enjoyed camping and fishing, but he loved spending time with his family. He was also a member of the VFW. Ronald is survived by his wife, Yvonne of Great Falls; daughter, LeAnna Jo McMullen of Great Falls; sons, Mickell Dean and Shannon Ray, both of Great Falls, and Richard Allan of Richland, WA; brothers, Jayme of Billings and Robert of Enunclaw, WA; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Betty; sister, Mary Passmore; and brothers, Larry and Keith. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local Marine Corps Toys for Tots.
