Rodney C. St. Germain Sr.

Rodney C. St. Germain Sr., 62, of Great Falls, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014, from natural causes.A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. A funeral liturgy will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Rodney was born on March 11, 1952 in Williston, North Dakota to Joseph St. Germain and Dorothy (Moran) St. Germain. He grew up mainly in Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High School. He served in the United States Army for 12 years.He married Hee Soon Shin in South Korea, and they had two sons, Joseph and Rodney Jr. They later divorced. Rodney returned to Great Falls to raise his sons around family. He worked in Great Falls Janitorial for a number of years and had to retire because of diabetes complications.He loved to be in the outdoors, going camping, fishing and hunting with his boys.Rodney is survived by his two sons, Joseph of Great Falls and Rodney Jr. and his wife Wioleta of El Paso, TX; grandsons Anthony and Dominic of El Paso, TX; brothers Sylvester and Lawrence St. Germain of Great Falls; sisters Barbara St. Germain of Trenton, ND and Loretta St. Germain of Great Falls; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Joseph St. Germain and a nephew Michael Campbell.
