Robert "Bob" Krieg

November 30, 1947 — January 5, 2025

Robert “Bob” Krieg was born and raised in Missoula and started working before he was fifteen. He was drafted into the Army and after two years, returned to Missoula to begin working as a pipe fitter before starting and building several successful businesses. Robert was generous with his success and loved hosting and sharing adventures with friends and family, which usually involved fishing or jet boating. He and his family lived in many places, but you could often find him in one of his two favorites, Montana or Mexico.

Robert never sat through an entire play or movie and never won any awards for patience, but he was surrounded by friends and family who loved him dearly and would do anything for him. He was truly a unique individual with a witty sense of humor, a no-nonsense approach to life,

and was definitely a “Jack of all trades.” He was mechanically inclined and always ready to help others.

Robert’s absence will be deeply felt, and we will always be grateful for the many wonderful memories he made possible. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeri Krieg; their son, Kyle; his daughter, Michelle Burreson; son-in-law, Skyler; grandchildren, Chase and Brooklyn; sisters, Linda Krieg and Karen Scott; brother-in-law, Tim Scott; nieces, Renata Scott (Jim Warford) and Kim Krieg; as well as his nephew, Kris Krieg.  A private service will be held at a later date.
