Richard Roy Heinert

Richard Roy Heinert, 76, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2023, with family by his side. Richard was a religious man, and his strong faith helped him through his final days.

Richard was born in Bismarck, North Dakota to Roy and Clara Heinert. He married Loretta Unruh. Together they had two sons. Richard and Loretta divorced but remained friends over the years.

Richard worked for Eddie’s Bakery until they closed. He enjoyed reading and playing guitar, especially gospel songs.

He is survived by his two sons, Steven and Shawn; daughter-in-law, Kayla; brothers, Ken (Sandra) all of Great Falls, Montana and Tony of Vaughn, MT; sisters, Loretta, Kathy (Reed) Overson, and Mary Ashely McGuyer all of Bismarck, North Dakota; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at his request.
