Richard Theadore R.T. Gates, 68, of Ulm, passed away on March 13, 2014.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Ulm Cemetery, Ulm, Montana. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Richard R.T. was born on June 17, 1945 to Theadore Russell Gates and Lillian Irene (Peterson) Gates in Glasgow, Montana. He married Teri Marie McGregor on December 31, 1980 in Great Falls, MT. He owned and operated R.T. Gates Construction and truly loved working the most.He attended the Healer House.R.T. is survived by his wife, Teri; sons Rod Gates of Vaughn and Rick (Georgeann) Gates of Cascade; daughter April Gates of Helena; brother Craig Gates of Kennewick, WA; sisters Linda (Bob) Propeck of Maple Valley, WA and Stacey Gates of Seattle, WA; and six grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike; and daughter Shelly.
