Richard "Dick" Williams

Richard “Dick” Williams of Great Falls passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018. Dick was born in Berkeley, CA in January 1941. He grew up in Livingston, MT. He joined the Navy in 1958 at Whidbe Island where he met his wife Geraldine. They were married in 1960. He spent 6 years in the Navy before joining the Air Force. He retired in 1980 as a Captain. He enjoyed collecting, reading, cars, a love for animals and a joy in following his grandson, Spencer Williams’ achievements in golf. Dick is survived by his wife, Geraldine; daughter Deborah of Great Falls; son Richard Lane Williams of Idaho; grandsons Spencer (Jasmine) Layne Williams and Ricky Lane Williams of Idaho; great-grandsons Ryder Lane Williams of Helena and Brody Lane Williams of Idaho; sisters Carol (Windsor) Wilson of Big Timber, Diane Crew of Billings, and Kris (Rudy) Patterson of Idaho; and best friends, considered family, the Charlie Stroop family of Great Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Williams and Ruth Nicholson; and sister Jean (Robert) Parker. It was Richard’s wish to have no services. May he rest in peace.
