Rev Gustave Carow Schulz Iii

Rev. Gustave Carow Schulz III, aged 85, went home to his Lord on January 21, 2024, peacefully at his home.  He was born in Dover, New Jersey.  He served in the US Army from 1953 to 1956 as a medical specialist. He worked at Dover General Hospital, Dover, New Jersey, and Wyoming County Community Hospital, Warsaw, New York as an OR Tech. He graduated from Elohim Bible Institute, Castile, New York, the received his Bachelor and Doctor of Theology from Andersonville Theology Seminary, Camilla, Georgia.  He was the Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, West Shokan, New York for 46 ½ years, before his retirement to Great Falls, Montana in December 2019.

He is survived by his wife, Joan for 56 years; his daughter, Jill (Doug) Shaver; his brother, Donald (Kathy) Schulz; 3 grandchildren, Michelle (Josh) Forrest, Kyle (Jessica) Shaver, Kevin Shaver; and 7 great-grandchildren, Jaelynn, Cadence, Lleyton, Addison, Everett, and Juliet, Zoey.

He was preceded by his parents; 2 brothers; and a sister; and great-granddaughter, Cadence.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Temple Baptist Church, Great Falls at a later date.
