Rebecca "Becca" Byrne

Rebecca Becca Sue Byrne passed away August 22nd due to complications involving her nine year battle with ovarian cancer. She was 35 years old and a resident of Great Falls.Viewing will be Tuesday, August 27th at 1:00 p.m. followed by services at 2:00 p.m. at Valley Community Bible Church (VCBC). Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery followed by a reception at VCBC.Rebecca was born April 11, 1978 in Great Falls. She was the second of two daughters to Paul and Carol Byrne. She graduated from Great Falls High School in 1996. She attended Colorado State University, and in 2001 she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Great Falls.In 1997 she gave birth to a son, Ashlen, who would become the heart and soul of her life. She devoted herself to constantly improving his childhood. Rebecca fostered his musical talent and loved listening to her son play.She worked for the Great Falls "public" School System as a speech assistant while diligently working on her Masters Degree in Speech Pathology through the University of Montana.Rebecca was an avid gardener, enjoyed garage sales, bargain shopping, coupon clipping , and scrap-booking.She will be remembered for her gentle nature, quiet disposition, loving soul, and deep desire to survive.Rebecca is survived by her mother and father; sister; son; spouse; and extended family members.She was preceded in death by Jack and Rose Bly, her grandparents.
