Randall Raymond Hand, 51, of Great Falls, financial officer for Cascade County, died of natural causes on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at his home.A visitation will be held at OConnor Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at OConnor Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Melrose Cemetery in Melrose, MT on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Randall Randy Raymond Hand was born on June 19, 1961 in Dillon, Montana to Horace and Virginia (Wallace) Hand. He graduated from Capital High School in Helena and went on to graduate from the College of Great Falls with a degree in accounting. Randy married Chris Hall in 1983 and they later divorced in 2004. He then married Kari Champlin in Great Falls in 2005.Randy worked as a cook for the Heritage Inn and for El Vaquero in Helena; as a logger at Eldow Chapman Logging; and as a maintenance man at the College of Great Falls. He then went to work in accounting and auditing for Lorin Randall CPA, Joseph Eve and Company, Rons Northern Pine Bar, Lac de Flambye Casino and Resort, Walmart and for the Cascade County as Finance Officer.Randy enjoyed reloading ammo and target practice, fly tying and fly fishing, reading, computer games and Wii boxing with Cole and the girls. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.Randall is survived by his wife, Kari Hand of Great Falls; mother Virginia Hand of Helena; father Horace Hand of Oregon; daughters Brisana Champlin of Denver, CO, Jessica Leavitt and Rachael Marx, both of Great Falls; sons William Hall-Hand of Plains, Levi Hand of Thompson Falls, Cole Hand of Great Falls and Deshawn Lewis of Glasgow; brothers Kevin Hand and Ron Hand, both of Helena, and Scott Nelson of Lolo; sisters Pam Hand and Tami Schleining, both of Helena; and seven grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his brother, Dan Hand.
