Phyllis Williamson, 77, of Great Falls, a retired library supervisor for Great Falls "public" Schools, passed away on May 25, 2012 of natural causes at a local nursing home.At her request, no services are planned.Cremation has taken place.Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Phyllis Williamson was born on January 25, 1935 to Oral and Ruth Williamson in Tonganoxie, Kansas.The family later moved to Portales, New Mexico, where Phyllis graduated from Eastern New Mexico University, with a Bachelors of Education Degree.She went on to receive her masters degree from Denver University.After graduation she worked for the Los Alamos School District in New Mexico.She went on to being a professor at Eastern New Mexico University.She moved to Great Falls and was the library supervisor for Great Falls "public" Schools from 1965 until her retirement in 1991.She enjoyed skiing, hiking and going to the cabin in Monarch area.Phyllis is survived by her twin sister, Kay Williamson of Great Falls; a brother, Lynn Reed Williamson of Bozeman; nine nieces and nephews; 27 great-nieces and nephews; and 17 great-great-nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Oral and Ruth Williamson; a brother, Mahlon Williamson; a sister, Joyce Williamson; a nephew, Mark Williamson; and sisters-in-law, Norah Williamson and Una Williamson.Memorials can be made in Phylliss name to the charity of your choice.Condolences may be left for the family at www.schniderfuneralhome.com.
