Phyllis Gloria (Hauer) Bunker, 57, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 after a long 2 year courageous battle with brain cancer. Visitation will be Thursday, December 13, 2018 beginning at 12:00 noon. A funeral service will also be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. both at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Phyllis was the fifth born to Thomas and Winifred (Link) Hauer on June 3, 1961 in Great Falls. She graduated from Great Falls High School in 1979 and went to work at the Deaconess Hospital (now Benefis Health Care) for over 35 years. In 1983, she married David Bunker at Malmstrom Air Force Base. They had two children, Katie and Tommie. Phyllis is survived by sisters Carol (William) Stoller and Shelby (Dan) Howard; brother Thomas (Jill) Hauer, all of Great Falls; sister-in-law Kathy Hauer of Cascade; children Kathryn (Gavin) Gray of Moorcraft, WY and Thomas Bunker of Great Falls; grandchildren Lynsey, Trenten, and Ryder Gray; special friend and care giver, Barry Dorton; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother William Hauer; grandparents; nephew Travis Howard; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. Many thanks to Sletten Cancer staff, Dr. B.
