Pauline Vik passed away on June 3, 2020, just two days shy of her 90th birthday. She was born on June 5, 1930, in Great Falls, and grew up in Black Eagle. A reception in memory of Pauline will be held at a later date. In high school, Pauline won a trip to Chicago for the National 4H convention and later went on to graduate from Great Falls High School in 1948. After high school, Pauline went to work at Newberry’s where she met the love of her life, William Vik, who was a delivery man. They were married on April 16, 1950, and had two children, Gary and Paula. Pauline then went to work at Dinah Hughes and Northwest Bank where she would later retire from. Throughout the years, she enjoyed going to church, playing bingo and enjoyed many years at their cabin on Holter Lake. She is survived by her sister, Joanne (Wayne) Alden; son, Gary Vik; daughter, Paula (Kevin) Hruska; grandsons, Weston (Merridy) Vik and Corey Hruska; granddaughters, Ali (Jason) Rinker and Brittany Hruska; and her great-grandchildren, Perry and Everett Rinker. She was preceded in death by her husband; father, Walter; mother, Mary Corr; and her brother, James Corr. Pauline will be forever loved and remembered as an energetic and active woman loved life. Now, in death, she will once again be reunited with the love of her life.
