On September 19, 2018 at age 66 Paulette F. Ratliff, of Great Falls, Montana was freed from her struggle with early onset Alzheimer’s, she is now with her Lord and Savior. Paulette was born June 9, 1952 in Milbank, SD to Russell and Elenora Keller. She had three siblings: Nadine Hardinger, Donna Lewis, and Gene Keller. The family moved to Great Falls Montana in 1955. Later in 1958 the family moved to Belt, Montana where Russell and Elenora instilled the value of family in their children, which Paulette felt deeply and has passed down through the generations. In 1967 in her home town of Belt, she met the love of her life Ross Ratliff. The two of them married on January 3, 1976 and were happily married for 42 years. The two settled and made a home in Great Falls, where they raised their three children Brian, Beverly, and Heather. The two were also blessed with six wonderful grandchildren, Duncan, Evan, Brooklyn, Ellie, Miles, and Mila. Paulette was a devoted Christian and for many years attended the Belt Community Church. Paulette was an unbelievably kind, giving person full of life and love. She never met a stranger and if you were lucky enough to meet her once you were a friend for life. She was dedicated not only to her family and church, but also diligently worked alongside her work family at the Office Center for many years. In 2009 at the age of 57 Paulette was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s. Paulette showed her unyielding strength and devotion throughout her nine year battle with the disease, never asking “why me”. Paulette is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Elenora Keller. Paulette is survived by her husband Ross Ratliff and children Brian (Meghan) Ratliff, Beverly (Ransom) Matsko, Heather (Matt) Sharpe, her grandchildren Duncan Eisch, Evan Ratliff, Brooklyn Sharpe, Ellie Sharpe, Miles Ratliff, and Mila Sharpe. She is also survived by her three siblings Nadine (Danny) Hardinger, Donna (Jim) Lewis, and Gene (Tena) Keller. Paulette is also survived by two aunts and two uncles, numerous cousins, five nieces and four nephews. Paulette’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Belt Community Church located at 423 Belt Creek Rd, Belt, MT at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to Peace Hospice or the Belt Community Church.
