Paula Joan Dressler

After a long battle with vascular dementia, Paula Joan Dressler peacefully and comfortably passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

Paula was born in Kansas City, MO on September 7, 1946, to Thomas Daniel Reagin and Pauline Joan Trenary. Paula grew up in Independence, MO and attended William Chrisman High School. After graduating high school, Paula attended Missouri Valley College in Marshall, MO where she met the future love of her life, Boyd Dressler. Paula and Boyd were married in June of 1967 in Independence, MO. When they fell in love with the Rocky Mountains after a road trip to Colorado with lifelong friends, Paula and Boyd decided to move to Boulder, CO in 1970 where they started the next chapter of their lives and raised their family which, included their two sons, Brad and Jeremy, and many lucky pets. Paula spent the majority of her career in Boulder with NCHEMS (National Center for Higher Education Management Systems) and was well known for her infectious sense of humor. After previous visits, Boyd and Paula decided on a change of scenery and moved to Bozeman, MT in 1998 where they enjoyed their remaining years in Big Sky country.

Paula was preceded in death by her loving husband, Boyd Dressler.  She is survived by her sons, Brad Dressler of Parker, CO and Jeremy Dressler of Bozeman, MT; Brad's wife, Elizabeth; and grandchildren, Jaidan, Cooper, Declan, and Keaton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Gems Ruby House in Great Falls, MT who provided Paula a very warm, comfortable, and caring environment in her final days.
