Patrick Kevin Mcafee

Patrick Kevin McAfee passed away on January 27, 2023. Pat was born on April 22, 1958, in White Sulphur Springs, MT to Lyle E. “Tuck” and Florence Mae (Hudecek, Rokusek) McAfee.

Pat graduated from White Sulphur Springs High School in 1976. He lived in Montana until the 1990s and held a number of positions. Starting in high school, he worked on various local ranches, sold insurance, earned a Realtor’s license, and later sold stock feed. In the 1990s he moved to California where he was a house painter and bartender.  He returned to White Sulphur in 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, John D. “Jud” McAfee. He is survived by his brothers, Lyle V. “Smokey” (Leticia) McAfee, Barton W. (Lorie) McAfee; niece, Ashley (Ben) Wallace; and two grand-nieces. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his “extended” family, the community of White Sulphur Springs.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the medical staff at Mountainview Medical Center in White Sulphur Springs, Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, and to Kirk Johnston and family.

Tentative plans are for a celebration of life later in the spring after the weather warms up.
