Patrick Kuntz

Patrick J. Kuntz, 73, of Great Falls, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at Benefis Healthcare following a brief illness of cancer.Patrick was born in Great Falls, Montana, on November 6, 1943, to George and Lena (Senger) Kuntz. He graduated high school in California. He enlisted in the United States Navy January 1961, serving as a mechanic on the USS Ticonderoga, an aircraft carrier. He was honorably discharged October 1964. Patrick married Norma Dugan in California in 1968. From this union a son Patrick was born and the family returned to Montana in 1974. They later divorced.Patrick married Ramunda Mundy Sharp on August 17, 1984. They made their home in Great Falls. Patrick worked for Eklunds Appliance Store for 30 years. He and his wife took many trips, short and long, in and out of Montana.He enjoyed watching baseball and football and listening to music. Pat thoroughly loved fishing of all sorts and remembered the many species he caught during his life.He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Mary Kynett, Eileen Sis Sturdevant and Dorothy White; and his first wife, Norma.Pat is survived by his wife, Mundy of Great Falls; son Patrick (Jenny) Kuntz of Billings; brothers Kenneth and Dennis Kuntz of Great Falls; sister Jeanne (Frank) Pearson of Great Falls; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel.
